Building a Content Engine for Health and Flavor
When we set out to redesign the Mazola Corn Oil website, the goal wasn’t just to refresh a landing page. It was to create a true demand generation engine — one that educated, inspired, and converted.
The challenge was clear: How do you communicate the uniqueness of Mazola Corn Oil — especially its Plant Sterols — in a way that feels relevant, useful, and inspiring to everyday consumers?
I approached this from three angles:
1. Strategy and Planning
First, we mapped the customer journey. From awareness to action, the experience had to meet people where they were: those curious about healthier cooking, those loyal to the brand, and those comparing oils at shelf.
2. Content and Creative
We didn’t want a static brand site. We wanted a living recipe hub — a place people could return to for inspiration and practical value. Every piece of content worked double duty: promoting health benefits and sparking appetite through recipes. Storytelling turned scientific facts (like cholesterol-blocking Plant Sterols) into everyday moments in the kitchen.
3. Experience and Engagement
UI/UX mattered just as much as the message. The site was designed to be simple, interactive, and mobile-first. Recipes were easy to browse, health content was easy to digest, and every click brought you closer to discovering why Mazola was worth choosing.



The Results
The website became more than an information hub. It drove measurable growth in visibility, engagement, and recipe usage. It reinforced Mazola’s role as both a trusted health partner and a source of culinary inspiration. Most importantly, it gave the brand a platform to sustain premium positioning — not by telling people to buy Mazola, but by showing them why it belonged in their daily cooking.
For me, this project was about more than delivering a website. It was about building a content system that connects health with flavor, science with culture, and brand promise with everyday life.
